I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University in 2003.  I graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University in December 2004. I became certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy, May 2010.

Before graduating, I completed a 6-month practicum with Mental Health/Mental Retardation of Tarrant County working with persons' suffering from Bi-Polar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder and Schizophrenia.

I also completed a 3000 hour intership working with person's with chronic pain helping them with a variety of issues including: depression, pain management techniques, coping with grief, addiction, sexual abuse and family/relationship issues. 

I have experience working with couples, adolescents, families, groups and individuals and enjoy being in Private Practice. I am licensed by the State of Texas, License #61213. .

On a personal note: I am married for 11 years and have two sons, ages 23 and 26 and a wonderful daughter n' law. I have one handsome grandson, born on December 3, 2008.

I enjoy reading, camping, fishing, nature, musicals, live theater, music and playing the piano. I also have 2 dogs and a cat and am very much an animal lover. I am a member of Saint Matthew Presbyterian Church in Burleson and have worked extensively with their youth program.
